WELCOME TO ICF PHILADELPHIA

Speaker Application

Thank you for your interest in presenting to the International Coach Federation Philadelphia (ICFP), an ICF Charter Chapter.  ICFP’s mission is to enrich lives, create value, and expand possibilities for our members, clients, and communities while promoting standards of excellence in coaching.

We are specifically interested in speakers that can address the ICF Core Competencies, personal development of the coach, business development and any other skills and tools that are relevant to the coaching profession. Presentations that are interactive and incorporate experiential exercises work best with our audience. They often involve the audience actively via exercises with audience members in dyads or small groups followed by a debriefing period involving the entire group.

ICF Philadelphia Chapter Meetings take place throughout the year.  They are an array of Chapter Dinner Meetings, Chapter Virtual Meetings (typically January and February), Virtual Cafes and two Professional Development Days, which are half-or full-day events.  Our meetings are a combination of general business and educational experiences complete with continuing coach education units/credits (CCEU). ICF Philadelphia’s audience will typically include 30-60 coaches with varying levels of experience.  However, we expect presentations to appeal to our more seasoned coaches so that they may further their professional education. Presentations are typically for 1-1/2 hours for Chapter Meetings and Professional Development Days and 1.25 hours for our Virtual Cafes. We can’t guarantee which time slot will be available so we ask that your presentation be adaptable. Once we accept your proposal and set a date you will know how long you will have for the entire presentation including Q and A.

While we understand that your reasons for presenting may include exposure and marketing, we believe the best way for you to market to our group is through delivering valuable and compelling content. We do not allow marketing or promoting during your program and reserve the right to gently interrupt this activity. We invite you to bring promotional material for display before and after the program. You are welcome to invite anyone interested, to meet with you at the end of the presentation or provide him/her your contact information.

We look forward to receiving your submission.
