It is my distinct pleasure to begin my term as ICFP president. The solid groundwork that's been laid by the outgoing board combined with the enthusiasm and amazingness of the incoming board is truly exciting.
As our membership continues to grow towards 500 members, we will continue to engage in old and new ways. Please let me know how you feel about our chapter. What would you do more of? Less of? Differently? I am very much looking to meet you.
In 1998, two coaches sat around a small table at the City Line Diner imagining what a community of coaches in Philadelphia might look like. This small gathering quickly blossomed into three members and then four. Before long, a name and a larger venue needed to be chosen. For many years our name was the Philadelphia Area Coaches Alliance, or PACA, for short.
Today we’re known as ICF Philadelphia. With over 300 active members, ICF Philadelphia is the premier professional resource for both coaches and clients in the Greater Philadelphia area. Members’ practices include areas of expertise in Executive Coaching, Corporate Coaching, Business Coaching, Career Coaching, Group Coaching, Individual Coaching, Health and Fitness Coaching, Transition Coaching and various other specialties.
