Hear from a global leadership coach who herself has been coached several times in different counties, has coached leaders in US, Europe, India, Australia and works with leaders and their teams. Nicky will engage you to discover the multi-faceted aspects of coaching with the variables of working with people who don’t speak english as their first-language, have different cultural norms and frames of reference, bring alternate mental models to what coaching is and isn’t. The process of coaching may be the same, however there are many layers below ‘the tip of the iceberg’ to be aware of, recognize and adapt to as a cross-cultural leadership coach.
Nicky will share some stories and scenarios of being both coached herself in different countries (she is currently being coached by a Leadership Coach in Melbourne, Australia) and the insights she has from working/living on different continents as a Coach with clients in organizations on accelerated leadership development programs or executive development programs, who are developing into, moving into or are currently in international, global leadership roles.
