Helping our coaching clients set better boundaries can be a transformational experience. Many clients may have difficulty setting them, whether in work or personal relationships, and our helping them get greater awareness about what may be going on and how to effectively set them can be very powerful. I first ask people in these workshops to think of someone, including themselves who may have difficulty setting them. Then I briefly go over what is a boundary, what fears people may have in setting them and what simple steps may they and their clients take to effectively set them. Although there will be limited time, I will have people talk in small groups about boundary issues they see their clients having and how they may be able to help them manage the issues. I will also have them briefly review elements in the Boundaries Handbook that I will give them.

During this presentation you will discover:

  • What a boundary is and examples of setting one
  • Possible signs of difficulty with setting them and why it may be a challenge
  • Basic affirmations that can help your clients and you to be successful
  • The most important steps to successfully set and maintain them
