WELCOME TO ICF PHILADELPHIA
Thursday, June 18, 2020
7:00 - 8:30 PM
The purpose of this workshop is to provide clarity on what empathy is and what it is not. Raising our own awareness of the bias' we have. We will discuss research on what makes the “perfect” team and how to foster this in our own coaching practice with our clients. We will discuss the neuroscience of empathy and do several exercises, meditations and tools to cultivate empathy in our own coaching practice. To provide reinforcement as to why cultivating a daily meditation practice is essential to all ICF coaches. Participants will learn how to "embody" and practice tools to help them be more centered and grounded before meeting with clients. They will practice exercises that will help them listen more deeply as a coach and learn about the neuroscience of meditation and how it will actually change the structure and function of our brain.
