Change heightens emotional reactions. Change and transition represent opportunities.

Neuroscience, when combined with an understanding of the predictable dynamics during transition, can make transparent what happens in the brain when emotions are heightened. Neuroscience can equip us with keys to unlock the chemistry behind behaviors and offer techniques useful in up-regulating positive reactions and down-regulating negative reactions.

In this presentation, I will share a neuroscience informed transition framework, a brief illustration of how the framework can be applied and a recent case study.

Key Learning Takeaways

1. Understand the powerful, predictable dynamics at play throughout transitions

2. Observe how a neuroscience informed framework can be applied when experiencing transition

3. Learn how neuroscience can be used to make communication more effective

Participants will receive 1 Core Competency and .5 Resource Development CCEUs
