Hungry for connection
An immersive experience in curiosity and candor
#ICWPhilly2022
Description:
The traditional “ice breaker” exercise enables groups to develop a quick connection to work together productively; but what if that exercise could create a deep and lasting connection? Participants in this session will experience the Fast Friends Exercise created by the UC Berkeley Greater Good in Action initiative. Working in pairs, attendees will learn how to use powerful questioning to form a stronger connection with someone new.
Who is this for?
Anyone who is curious about other people, willing to be a little vulnerable and perhaps make new friends and expand your professional network. Coaches and leaders can experience the Fast Friends technique and find ways to embed it into their practice capabilities, people strategy, or building strong social or support networks.
