Coaching Business Models 101:
Design Your Business So You Can Thrive
In 20 years in the coaching business, Erin Owen has seen every imaginable business model for delivering coaching services and tried most of them herself. In this interactive, hands-on session, you’ll learn:
1. What does “business model” even mean for you as a coach?!?!
2. Pros/cons of different business models
3. What model(s) might be best for you based on your strengths, preferences for working with clients, and revenue earning goals — and yes of course we’ll do an assessment as part of this because how could we not? We are coaches!
4. Whether to stay the course in your current business model or change it
5. How to design your back-end (billing/invoicing, client communications, task management, etc.) to work for you
PLUS some bonus “lessons learned” about how much gross revenue to set aside for your actual take home income (hint: sadly, it is not 100% of your net revenue), what to outsource (and when) to simplify your life so you can focus on your sweet spot, and more.
This is not a pitch for business coaching, because Erin does not want to be your business coach. (Sorry!) She simply wants to share what she has learned and what she has shared with other newer coaches again and again in more informal conversations. Bring your own experiences to add to the discussion so we can all learn and grow together!
